Project Access Impact Report Shows Progress in Low-Income Communities

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., April 10, 2012 – Project Access, the state’s leading provider of vital health, education and employment services for families, children and seniors living in low-income housing communities, has released its annual Social Impact Report.
“We are pleased to report that in 2011, Project Access served over 10,000 families, children and seniors statewide, including 6,300 in Orange County,” CEO & President Kristin Byrnes said. “Our 2011 Impact Report indicates improvement in many areas of need, but much more remains to be done. We thank our supporters, partners and staff for their contributions.”
As a learning organization, Project Access measures the social impact of its program and services to ensure goals are met. Project Access continually evaluates its services to determine efficiency and effectiveness through a variety of evaluation tools, including pre/post -tests to identify significant changes in knowledge and behavior, as well as self-perception surveys.
