Affordable Housing Expert Rebecca Clark Joins Project Access Board

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sept. 28, 2012 – Business consultant and real estate expert Rebecca Clark, CEO of Clark Consulting Group, has recently joined the Board of Directors of nonprofit Project Access, a leading provider of health, education and employment services to residents of low-income housing communities.

“We are pleased to welcome Rebecca to the Board and are confident her skill and extensive experience in the affordable housing industry will be valuable assets for our organization,” said CEO Kristin Byrnes. Clark is based in the Bay Area of California.

Founded in 2009, Clark Consulting provides independent and objective advice to client organizations regarding organizational and real estate assessments; affordable housing development; strategic restructuring; mergers/acquisitions and consolidations; leadership transitions and executive support.

Prior to founding her business, Clark held several key posts in the housing industry. She was the executive vice president of BRIDGE Housing Corporation, managing director and acting president of LINC Housing, president and CEO of National Community Renaissance, executive director of the Southern California Housing Development Corporation, and the director of construction management and housing development for the Community Development Commission of Los Angeles.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Management from Claremont Graduate University - Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.

Project Access was founded in 1999 by Jonathan B. Webb and has continuously delivered programs and services to our residents by way of family and senior resource centers established in the low-income housing communities where they live, as well as through providing outreach and referral services.

Project Access believes in eliminating barriers and setting individuals up for success. Today, Project Access serves residents in more than 40 low-income housing communities in California, which benefited more than 10,200 youth, adults, and seniors in 2011.
