Project Access Announces Colorado Expansion and Staff Promotions

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., March 10, 2013 – Project Access, a leading provider of vital health, education and employment services for families, children and seniors living in low-income housing communities, has announced plans to open its first out-of-state Resource Centers in Denver and Aurora, Colorado on July 13.
The new centers will provide after-school programing, capacity building for adult activities and health services for hundreds of residents.
To accommodate the growth, staff promotions have also been announced. In the corporate office, Tristen Cali, former service coordinator, has been named donor relations manager. Jason Lee, former service coordinator, has been promoted to social impact analyst. Teresa Ichsan, regional manager, Internal Promotions, has been promoted to director of Business Development and will oversee Project Access activities at the Colorado properties.
Additionally, James Le, former service coordinator, has been named a regional manager.
Field staff promotions were also announced. Former associate service coordinators Elizabeth Mejia and Belinda Rodriguez have been promoted to service coordinators. Robertina Pena, former assistant service coordinator, has been named associate service coordinator, and Kenny Ramirez, former service coordinator, has been promoted to regional supervisor.
“We’re excited about our expansion into Colorado and look forward to providing the critical services needed to keep family members employed, children in school and seniors active,” said CEO Kristin Byrnes.
The 46 Resource Centers operated by Project Access foster a culture of change by assisting residents from a broad range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds to improve their lives through education, employment, wellness, and financial capability, among other programs.
