WHAT: Project Access will receive five percent of the Newport Beach store’s entire sales, including the Back Bay Tavern, June 19 as part of the grocery chain’s community giving days (otherwise known as “5% Days”). The groups that benefit from these 5% Days are as varied as the communities themselves. Each Whole Foods stores has latitude in deciding the best way to operate that individual store to meet the needs of the local community.
