Project Access Resource Center Rolls Into Triada at the Station District

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 5, 2013 – Residents of the affordable housing community known as Triada at the Station District in Santa Ana, California will receive vital health, education and employment services provided by nonprofit Project Access.

The community comprises 114 affordable apartment homes located at Triada Court, Triada Gardens and Triada Village between Santa Ana Boulevard and Fifth Street. The community includes new construction plus 10 preserved vintage homes.

The residences represent the first major development completed under Santa Ana’s transit zoning code that promotes transit-oriented development around the Regional Transportation Center.

Related California/Griffin Realty Corporation (Santa Ana Station District, LLC) is the master developer and responsible for the rental homes. The community recently received the Project of the Year Award for Large Development at the 31st Annual Affordable Housing Awards, hosted by the Orange County Community Housing Corporation, the Kennedy Commission and Affordable Housing Clearinghouse.

“We’re excited about our newest Resource Center here in Southern California and look forward to providing the critical services needed to keep family members employed, children in school and seniors active,” said CEO Kristin Byrnes.

The nearly 50 Resource Centers operated by Project Access foster a culture of change by assisting residents from a broad range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds to improve their lives through education, employment, wellness, and financial capability, among other programs.
