Alison Popovich Joins Project Access as Marketing Director

NEWPORT BEACH, California, April 3, 2014 – Communications expert Alison Popovich has joined nonprofit Project Access as the organization’s Marketing Director under the direction of the Chief Development Officer. Project Access strives to be the leading provider of vital health, education and employment services to families, children and seniors living in low-income housing communities.
In her new role, she will develop and direct marketing programs, special events, social media campaigns and other communications activities in support of the Project Access vision that all residents of affordable housing communities have the opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency and maximize their full potential.
Prior to joining Project Access, she was the Executive Director at NVISION Laser Eye Centers, an innovative leader in lifestyle surgical eye care headquartered in Newport Beach.
Her previous experience also includes serving as Marketing Manager with Freeline Sports, a start-up action sports company, as a Marketing/Operations Specialist with TLC Laser Eye Centers, and as Broker Relations Manager with Sperry Van Ness. She began her career as an Account Associate with advertising agency Doner. She has also been an active volunteer at the Mission Viejo Animal Shelter.
She earned a B.S. Degree in Business Marketing from California State University Long Beach in 2005.
