Project Access Racks Up $22,000 With Annual Bowling for a Cause – Every Strike Counts! Fundraiser

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 2, 2015 – Nonprofit Project Access recently racked up $22,0000 in donations to support its Education for Youth Program at the organization’s annual Bowling for a Cause – Every Strike Counts! Fundraiser held at Bowlmor Lanes in The District at Tustin.

Project Access strives to be the leading provider of vital on-site health, education and employment services to low-income families, children and seniors. The organization’s goal is to help keep family members employed, children in school, and seniors active.

Sponsors included Yelp, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bank of the West Wealth Management, Bridge Investment Group, LLC, Integrity Housing, the Elizabeth Do Team and an anonymous donor. This year, children participating in Project Access programs at the Warwick Squire apartment community in Santa Ana attended the event.

“We thank our generous sponsors and teams for their valuable contributions,” said Project Access CEO & President Kristin Byrnes.

“The funds raised will help to support our Education for Youth Initiative, which includes school readiness for preschool-age children, after-school tutoring and enrichment programs for youth and teen programs,” she said.

Project Access directly serves more than 11,000 low-income individuals at over 60 properties in California, Colorado and Arizona where it fosters a culture of change by assisting residents from a broad range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds to improve their lives through education, employment, wellness, and financial capability, among other programs.
