Project Access Names Esther Song Director of Resident Services and Social Impact

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., September 1, 2015 – Newport Beach-based Project Access has promoted Esther Song to Director of Resident Services and Social Impact for the nonprofit organization’s more than 60 Family and Senior Resource Centers in California, Arizona and Colorado.

In her new role, she is the primary point of contact for programs and program development, evaluations and impact, and the supervision of all the Resident Services Managers for all regions. She was previously Resident Services Manager of seven of the nonprofit’s Family and Senior Resource Centers in Southern California.

She joined the organization in 2009 as a Resident Services Assistant at the Senior Resource Center in Torrance, and was soon promoted to Resident Services Coordinator at a Family Resource Center in Cypress, where she developed and strengthened the programs while engaging and empowering low-income families in the community. She was promoted to a Resident Services Supervisor in 2013.

Song earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Social Ecology, with a minor in Education, from the University of California, Irvine in 2008.

Project Access directly serves nearly 12,000 low-income individuals at over 60 properties in California, Colorado and Arizona where it fosters a culture of change by assisting residents from a broad range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds to improve their lives through education, employment, wellness, and financial capability, among other programs.
