NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., December 18, 2015 – As promised, the 10th Annual Newport Beach Santa Pub Crawl produced plenty of good cheer and much- needed funds for nonprofit Project Access of Newport Beach, California, which received a check for $13,410.46 from the event that took place Saturday, Dec. 12.

Future Leaders of Our Community (FLOC), OC Weekly, Yelp and GivSum sponsored the Pub Crawl. There were two routes with bars that agreed to provide drink specials to all patrons who purchased wristbands and wore Santa-themed holiday attire during their scheduled time slots.

“We were delighted to receive the proceeds from this successful holiday event that will help Project Access with its mission to be the leading provider of vital on-site health, education and employment services for families, children and seniors,” said the nonprofit’s CEO and President Kathy McCarrell.

Project Access directly serves over 12,000 low-income individuals at over 60 properties in California, Colorado and Arizona where it fosters a culture of change by assisting residents from a broad range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds to improve their lives through education, employment, wellness, and financial capability, among other programs.
